Tiffany Kimball, President of Red Circle Press, received the ASBSU Hall of Fame award in the club’s category of Special Interest. Her name will be permanently emblazoned on the Hall of Fame wall in the Student Union. Congratulations Tiffany!

Students working collaboratively on climate change project

Printmaking students printed over 1,500 postcards on reclaimed materials. Their research project entitled, Call To Action: Blue and Orange Don’t Make Green, was presented April 14, 2008 at the Undergraduate Research Conference at Boise State. Students’ research revealed the gross lack of recycling recepticles on campus. Trash bins outnumber recycling bins 14 to 1.

In two hours, students gathered 650 petition signatures from students, staff and faculty on campus in support of funding greater recycling efforts. This research is being compiled and will be given to the Office of Sustainability to assist the Vice President of Sustainability with his efforts.
