Red Circle Press is operated by the printmaking students at Boise State University. In 2007, the Press received the award for Most Outstanding Special Insterest Club, RCP rose to the the top of 48 other student organizations in their category. The press has connected with the greater Boise area by partnering with the Boise Art Museum (BAM). RCP members hosted demonstrations at the museum during the Chuck Close exhibition in June and July 2007.

In September 2007, Red Circle Press hosted Bonnie Stahlecker of Indianapolis, Indiana. Stahlecker presented a two-day intensive bookbinding workshop, a public lecture and held an exhibition in the BSU Alberton’s Library. The press holds two silent auctions anually.

In February 2008, the press hosted Erik Waterkotte, Assistant Professor, Minnesota State University, Mankato. Waterkotte exhibited a new body of work entitle, Disaster Tableau at the Visual Arts Center in Boise. He offered a one day chine colle workshop to the community. His visit was made possible through the support of Red Circle Press and a Mini-Development Grant through the BSU College of Arts and Sciences.
